Christmas eve proposal

So excited, had to share. My daughter Abbie (some of you met her at ICOT15 & podcast) got engaged on X-mas eve. Her boyfriend came to us on Satuday and asked permission to marry our daughter. He popped the question in front of us and some of his family. Barely a dry eye in the house. They're thinking about a possible Disney wedding. I see there's a new thread started by disneyobsessed (Congrats to her) that I'll be watching.

Have you done this before? I am completely overwhelmed. Wedding these days are so differant than they were 25 yrs ago.

Disney obsessed, She's our only child and we tend to spoil her just a bit. It is overwhelming and we're barely into the planning stage. So much to think about. I may be PMing you with concerns and advice in the near future, if you don't mind.

Hi again. I have learned a lot about weddings here in our hometown this week, but I have yet to hear from Disney! They sent me the basic info you can get on line but I have many more questions. I hope they get in touch soon.
