We are heading to WDW in 4 days (woot!) to see our son and his HS marching band march on NYE at the Magic Kingdom (they march on Saturday for the Citrus Parade also :)). I see there are Extra Magic Hours on NYE and I have read that the parks typically close to due capacity on NYE. Should we plan on being there for EMH or is it safe to wait until 8am? We hope to be there for midnight and I was just trying to lessen the amount of hours there but it is more important that we get in to see our son march! :mickey:

Also, if any of you have been at WDW on NYE I would love to hear your thoughts on crowds, wait-times and such.

You should be safe by being inside MK by 10AM, give or take.
