Picking up at Sanford Airport

got my 17 year old DS a cheap flight into Sanford for Jan. he has never flown before and i have never picked up at Sanford before. is it possible to drive by while he is waiting at the curb or do i have to short term park or something? he will not have any bags to collect.

Most airports have cell phone lots. This is where you can wait until you get the call from you loved one saying they are ready to be picked up. Airports also have arriving flights pick up lanes. My daughter has done this when we have flown back from WDW.

Sanford is your typical small airport so picking him up at the curb is easy.
