I read about Earl of Sandwich's Holiday sandwich here last year and finally tried it tonight while in town for work--it is GREAT! Thanksgiving dinner on a roll. If you find yourself in DTD before January 6th, be sure to check it out.

On our visit in October we visited EoS for breakfast and I had that sandwich and then turned around and brought another one for the plane ride home!

Now I'm thinking of being there with Amy- Mousefever- during ICOT15. She tried the Holiday sandwich. It looked really good. It was my first visit to the Earl but it won't be my last.

Do you know we purposely book our outgoing flight on a certain airline in Newark NJ just because EoS is in that terminal??? LOL
Things we do for the love of food!!

Happy Thanksgiving to you too and Enjoy your trip!

its thanksgiving on a roll .... Turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce with gravy and holiday mayo (i think that's for preventing the roll from falling apart)

Oh goodness, I'd believe it! Any idea what is in the holiday mayo, or is it just mayo? :)

that's the one thing they don't post on their site is nutritional info but if i remember right its not just regular mayo there is something in it but with all the other flavors and textures added with it i couldn't tell you what it is

Along with the holiday mayo, the roll is buttered and toasted, so while I liked the sandwich, I thought it felt greasy and heavy. Next time I would omit either the butter or mayo. It was way too oily for me.

I would also hold the gravy. That's what kept me from it. I didn't need both gravy and cranberry.
