Just read today that when the Main Street Bakery closes for refurb in January, it will reopen as the new Starbucks.
I have to admit I was excited months ago when I first heard Starbucks was coming to the world.Real coffee! I thought "adding " it would be a welcome addition for real coffee drinkers. I never dreamed it would replace one of the mainstays of Main street.
Walking down Main street and smelling all the good bakery items while walking to the castle always added to my first day feel of being back home. Thinking all day of that special pastry we would be picking up after the fireworks for the next morning's breakfast...It's just not going to be the same...kind of sad.
