Stitch & Mickey called at 5:30am and we got ready for our big day at Epcot. I grabbed coffee for Sharon & I from Everything Pop while everyone else was getting ready (sorry everyone, I don't mind the food court coffee.)

We drove over to Epcot and met the INTERCOT group for the private breakfast outside guest relations at about 7:45am. We eventually headed into the park, took a group picture outside the Land pavilion, and rode Soarin' just before 9am. Having the ride to ourselves was great! After we finished our Soarin' rides (the group was split into two groups for the ride) we were escorted to the Seas pavilion for breakfast in the salon. It was really nice and there were windows into the aquarium as there are in the Coral Reef restaurant. Seaside Mickey was our special guest and after we took a picture with him, we headed out into the park (about 10:30am).

While Justin & Mark went to ride Spaceship Earth, Sharon & I went to take our swag bags to the car. I left my backpack with Justin so we didn't have to go through the bag check on the way back in. That turned out to be a mistake because we got all the way to the car and I realized the keys were in my backpack. So, it was back into the park. Sharon waited for the boys while I headed over to the Agent P's World Showcase Adventure station by the walkway over to World Showcase for the 11am Agent P meet that I was hosting. Sharon and the boys arrived so I had Mark get in line to get a F.O.N.E. (field operative notification equipment). Sharon & Justin went to take our swag bags to the car.

Mark and I were joined by INTERCOTee TracyL and her husband Mike. Mark had selected the United Kingdom mission so we headed across the pond and began our adventure. We obtained a golf ball from the phone booth by the Rose & Crown and had it analyzed. We had to see a toy soldier and got a clue from a butterfly. We ended up being cursed by Dr. Doofenschmirtz as we foiled his diabolical plan. This mission didn't feature Perry outside of the phone like some of the others do.

After defeating Dr. Doofenschmirtz, it was lunch time. Our original plan was to get the boys fish & chips from Yorkshire County Fish Shop and Sharon and I would grab something from Lotus Blossom Cafe. We ended up doing the Food & Wine Festival instead. We had planned that for dinner but Mike & Tracy recommended we do it for lunch because it would just keep getting busier (thank you Mike & Tracy for the great advice!). So we made our way around World Showcase. We tried ravioli and sausage from Italy, pierogi & sausage from Poland, bratwurst on a pretzel bun from Germany, and Swedish meatballs from Scandinavia. We had gotten the bratwursts for the boys, but Justin, our picky eater, didn't eat his (he ended up not eating anything for lunch). Everything was good, though the best value was probably the ravioli.

Since we were in Norway when we finished, we rode the Maelstrom (12:57pm). We had a short wait in line. We then returned to Future World; Mark & I rode Mission: SPACE at 1:37pm. We had about a 20 minute wait in line for the Orange team training.

After Mission: SPACE, we tried to catch the JAMMitors, but thanks to the map orientation on the Mobile Magic app (don't they know north should always point to the top of the phone on a map?) we went by Innoventions West and not Innoventions East. So, we ended up heading back over to World Showcase for the INTERCOT Off Kilter meet. Sharon hadn't seen them perform in the park before and neither had the boys, although they were less than thrilled about it.

When Off Kilter finished performing, I grabbed some cheddar cheese soup from Canada for Sharon & I to try. All of us then tried the chocolate lava cake from Ireland. This was another recommendation from Mike & Kathy and they were spot on; the cake was very good.

After we polished off our cake and licked our plates, we headed back to Future World. We rode Living with the Land at 3:35pm and then rode Journey into your Imagination with Figment at 4:03pm.

After visiting Figment, we returned to the United Kingdom in World Showcase and spent some time talking to Ed and his wife Yvonne by Gary's Column. It was about 5pm, so we decided to get the boys their fish & chips for dinner. Sharon decided to have fish & chips for dinner, too. I went and grabbed a Stella from the outdoor bar at the Rose & Crown, since I'd prefer not to have seafood.

When Sharon, Justin, & Mark finished their dinners, we walked counter-clockwise around World Showcase. We grabbed some pretzels from Germany and then I grabbed orange chicken from Lotus Blossom Cafe for dinner.

After I ate dinner, we met the INTERCOT group in Norway for the private evening meet. We were escorted up to a set of rooms that look over the courtyard in Norway for drinks and socializing. Our special guest for the evening was Duffy. Sharon & I had our picture taken with Duffy (the boys didn't want to for some reason).

We left at about 8:30pm and headed to Mouse Gear in Future World to do some shopping. We then grabbed some ice cream from Fountain View. After we finished our ice cream, Sharon & the boys headed back to Pop Century while I stayed to watch IllumiNations at 10pm. After IllumiNations was finished, I got back to the car and drove back to Pop Century. The rest of the family was already asleep and I would be shortly, too, since Sunday would be another early start for us.

You did well to make it around the F & W early. Good advice on that one. The crowds really built up.

Yes, we were very grateful for the advice. If we are able to do the Food & Wine Festival again, we'll do it during the day on a weekday when it's not as likely to be so busy.
