I will be in the World for just a few days in December and I should have some time to visit a few of the resorts to check out their decorations. I'll have a car so no transportation issues.

Which resorts are not to be missed??

Wilderness Lodge

Wilderness Lodge is quite nice but I'd also suggest visiting the Grand Floridian and Animal Kingdom Lodge. Both have impressive holiday trees. The Grand Floridian also has a large gingerbread house (which serves as a shop to sell gingerbread). The Contemporary, at times, has had displays of gingerbread houses (not on a scale with the Grand Floridian).

You could make the rounds to the monorail resorts to take a look at their Gingerbread houses. They're all different but, yes, the BIG one at the Grand Floridian is the most memorable.

The chocolate carousel at the Beach Club is also a neat exhibit. It's about the size you see in front of K-mart. Very cool! The Yacht and Beach Club Resorts both have beautiful trees and decorations!

Have a Merry, Magical Christmas!

If you have an extra day to visit, I'd go to all the monorail resorts, then the BW and Y&BC, then WL and AKL.

Our favorites are the Grand Floridian and the Beach Club.

Even though they are not Disney resorts but the Swan and Dolphin also have beautiful decorations: The Swan has a Santa scene made entirely from chocolate and the Dolphin has this huge white and blue Christmas tree with a train running around the tree and both hotels have gingerbread scents piped in.

Sounds like I need to add Swan / Dolphin to my list when I check out the EPCOT resorts!

Wilderness Lodge and Grand Floridian for sure, also Polynesian and Animal Kingdom Lodge. I've heard the Epcot resorts are nice too
