Cake waiting in the room

I know some one here can direct me to the right spot. A co-worker would like to order a cake sent to her daughters room when they travel down the end of this month. Her dd is traveling for the first time with her DH and two sons. They are staying at CRB..Could she have the cake waiting for them when they check-in? Who do I direct her to for this?

You can not normally have a cake waiting in the room at check in. Room assignments are not definite until they give you your key.

She could have the cake delivered once they know the room number.

If you we're staying in CL it would happen. They have the staffing to do it and I've done similar things to that. But in a non-CL room it can't be done. And even in CL they don't want to put perishables in a room in case the people don't show up.
