Virtual porthole and characters

So just how frequently do characters make appearances in the virtual porthole? Like, something is there for 10 minutes every hour.... or much more or much less?

Planning our first cruise and we actually want the inside room because we think our 2yo will love this. But want to manage expectations.

Go verandah... You'll have someplace to sit and make noise while the little one is sleeping.

That's my biggest 'problem' with cruising with young ones, and that's the lack of real space to stretch out. I guess I could go with a suite, but those aren't really all that roomy either.

Porthole was awesome. About every 15 mins a some type of event occurs. Daytime expect goofy on a surfboard, Pluto on flying carpet, Captain Hook, up balloon,etc
At night expect. Tinker bell and pixie dust, wall e, toy story Martians and the coolest of all is the fireworks.

You and your 2 yr old will not be disappointed
Keep your camera ready the different views make great memories. While your in ports the backgrounds live shot with characters in foreground is cool.
