Balloon Ride at Downtown Disney

Last I heard Disney shut down the attraction in DtD due to a malfunction that happened to the same ride at the Hong Kong Disney.

Disney was preparing to do some renovations to the attraction but decided to move up its plans to replace it with something new and safer. Not sure what that is but we will have to wait for more news.

That's about all I know.

Just a little clarification - the Balloon in Hong Kong was not at HK Disneyland. It was at Ocean Park.
