Past January Discounts/Offers?

DH and I are considering taking the kids to WDW in January as their big Christmas present, and I just started pricing the trip. Our wonderful MJ rep told us no 2013 discounts have been released yet. Out of curiosity (Obviously nothing is definite or set in stone), what are some discounts/offers they have run in January in the past? :mickey:

I went last year and they had free dining plan discounts. I am going this january also but i thought they would have announced them by now. I really hope they do the dining plan again.. if they do a discount. I dont see why they wouldnt at least do something, but then again you never know.

Free dining and room only discounts come to mind as past offerings. If free dining is offered, do the math carefully. This type of discount typically requires that you pay rack rate for the room and purchase tickets with a minimum number of days. Depending on how you dine, you might be better served to secure a room only discount and pay out of pocket for meals.
