Mousekeeping Tips?

We are staying at POP. How much should we budget per night for mousekeeping tips?

We usually do about $1 per person/per night. I leave more if the kids make a bigger mess but never more than $5. Mousekeeping is not a tipped position so you could leave nothing and it would still be okay. When you leave a tip you are more likely to find fun things like animal towels, etc. When it was just DH and myself we would do about $3 since we never really left a mess.

I go with $1 per person per night, though if it's all 4 of us I'll usually just tip a $5 bill.
