Wilderness Lodge Refurb

Anyone been to WL recently? We'll be there on the Sept 22nd and just wondering how the refurb is going and if it's noticeable or if it seems more/less crowded.

Good question. Anyone know when the refurb will be complete?

We are planning a trip in Feb. We've talked about maybe staying at Shades of Green, or a moderate resort, to keep the cost down for this trip, since we'll be returning again next Thanksgiving. However, I'm secretly missing my WL. If the refurb won't be complete by Feb. it'll make not staying there much easier.

Should all be completed by the end of September.

It wasn't noticeable in July and didn't cause any problems.

Good to hear the refurb will be finished soon. We will we checking in Sept 21. Can't wait!

I didn't stay there, but visited there two weeks ago, and I'd say the refurbishing was at a minimum. There was a whole section of a floor closed off, but most of the resort looked in tact, and as beautiful as ever. Our dinner at Artist Point was amazing by the way, and we love Whispering Canyon too. You should enjoy your stay there immensely. :mickey:
