Beach Club Villas 1 BR lockoff?

What's the difference in layout between a lock off and dedicated 1br?
Just a door?

A dedicated one bedroom does not connect to a studio.

In order to create the 2BR villas, they combine a 1 bedroom with a studio (with a connecting door in the living area that leads to the studio). A very small number of 2BR villas at the Beach Club are "dedicated 2br" where the second bedroom is NOT a studio, but a room with 2 queen beds.

A "lockoff" one bedroom will have the connecting door, and there will be people staying in the studio next door. No big deal, really.

This is what we had on our last trip. The connecting door is located in the entryway and really only noticeable when exiting the unit - similar to staying in a hotel room that is equipped with a connecting door to the next hotel room.
