Fastest transport -Typhoon to DD

I believe buses travel from DD to Typhoon Lagoon. What is the fastest way to get from Typhoon Lagoon to DD? (I know it's easy--get on any bus and it'll loop back after going to the resort, but what is the fastest?)

I think in the afternoons it goes from TL to DTD and then to a resort... so you should be able to just hop on any bus and its next stop should be Downtown Disney.
Just check with the busdriver.
There are no sidewalks etc. to walk over to DTD, even though they're essentially across the street from each other.
