If I purchase a 10 Day Park Hopper Ticket and begin using it on Oct. 4 what is the last day I can use this ticket? Will it be Oct. 17 or 18? I will not be purchasing the No Expiration option. Please help! :D

The ticket will expire at 11:59pm on October 17 (14 days after first use) or technically midnight depending on how you look at it lol

Yes, the 17th is correct.

Think of it this way: Consider the first day you use it as Day 1. So if October 4th is Day 1, you can count out (I use my fingers :secret: ) and easily determine that Day 14 is October 17th. As Tink already said, you can use that ticket through the end of the day on October 17th.

While your counting is biblically correct...(first use is day one), believe, as I recall, wording is 14 days from first use...so counting that way, first use is day zero, 5th is 1 day from from 1st use....then the 18th, not the 17th, is the 14th day from first use...

Incorrect. The clock starts ticking the 14 days the first time you stick the ticket in the machine. And the wording is "tickets expire 14 days after first use". Wording doesn't really matter, the 14th day is October 17th, 11:59pm, at 12:00am October 18th, the ticket will be useless.

Just checked..although several sites state "from", the wording on the Disney site, and on the tickets is "after", which would even more strongly hint at the first day is day zero...tomorrow is one day after today, not two...and the 18th is 14 days after the 4th...Is two weeks after today (August 18) Friday, August 31, or Saturday, September 1?
But that doesn't matter....Depends on how Disney counts...apparently, the other responders believe that Disney considers the day of first use as day one, and that the machines are programmed to reject tickets after day 14...so if they turn off your eligibility at midnight on the 17th, I can't get you in. Go on the 17th to be safe!

We can parse words all day, but the fact is that Disney considers the first day of ticket use as Day One. I'm not guessing. I've studied Disney World ticketing for years, and I have very close attention to detail.

Actually, in the digital world, it makes sense to count the first day as day one...so software rules! Hard sometimes for we who were raised in an analog world to apply the logic of the digitial world. So the 17th it is!

I believe that it would be the 18th.

During a recent trip, our first use of MYW passes was on July 2nd and were still able to use them on July 16th.

O Gosh, guess the machine which read your ticket didn't have very close attention to detail!
