To be more specific, one from Candle Warmers? Just got mine from Amazon, and we're using a larger 22oz jar and it's taking forever. They recommend 18oz maximum for bottom warmers, but that it supports up to 26oz.

Anyone know by experience the best size to use?

You'd probably be better off using a medium jar candle (14 oz) or smaller. Before spending more money on good candles, I would pick up a couple different sizes at the dollar store and see what kinds of results you get.

I have not had good luck with candle warmers. I have used the "sensy" brand that worked really well. It is scented wax heated by a light bulb. Good luck!

I have used others in the past and don't like them. If it has a wick - I like to watch it burn - I'm a closet pyromaniac though. I like my firepit for a reason.

For wax scents - I prefer Scentsy. It melts scented wax cubes in a small bowl which sits upon a lightbulb holder - Wally World Sells their own version too.
