How do you get to MK for Behind the Stream Trains Tour?

We'll be staying at the Yacht Club and have reservations for the Behind The Steam Trains Tour. The tour meets at 7:15am in front of the MK. (MK is scheduled to open at 9am)

What is the best way to get there?

I have a car, so driving to TTC is not a problem, but will the resort and/or MK express monorail be operational at that time?

Failing that, should we try to park up at the Contemporary and walk?

What have been your experiences of arriving at MK so early?

The resort monorail starts running at 7AM so it will be tight but you should be ok.

When we did it we tried to park at the contemporary for it. The guard wasn't too sure about it. He eventually let us but did tell us that they were no longer supposed to allow guests to park there for tours. So, I think be at the TTC ready to go by 7 and you'll be fine on the resort monorail.
