Any tips for switching resorts?

This will be our first time switching resorts mid stay. 2 nights at BWI followed by 4 nights at the GF. Does anybody have any tips for making this go smoothly? Does bell services take care of the luggage transfer for you? Just over two weeks to go! :mickey: Thanks!

Simply call Bell Services and tell them to have your luggage transferred to GF. After they come up to take your luggage, head off to the parks as normal and return to GF later that day and it will be waiting for you at GF Bell Services.

We did this a few years ago. All we did was pack our luggage back up and any bags such as souvenirs and stacked them by the door. We called guest services from the phone in the room and asked them to transfer our luggage. We went over to the other resort and checked in early that morning before heading to the parks and of course our room wasn't ready. We mentioned that our luggage was being brought over from the other resort and they said they would take care of it. When we got back late that night, our luggage was in the room in the new resort waiting for us.

Disney is very good about moving luggage from resort to resort. They make it so simple, just like it should be with the least amount of interference of your vacation. You will be pleasantly surprised indeed.

While Disney will do it for you, on the couple of occasions we have done this, we've opted to cab over to the second resort and take our luggage with us.
