July 23, 2003 – For the 1st time WDW would run national TV ads for a single ride. The campaign was centered around the new attraction, Mission: Space opening August 15, 2003.
July 23, 2003 – Former astronaut Buzz Aldrin, took the controls aboard Mission: Space in Epcot at WDW, for the filming of an ABC television segment that features the new attraction. (The segment would shown Aug. 15, 2003 on ABC-TV during the airing of the feature film “Mission to Mars.”)
July 23, 2003 – “Cinderella,” the first single off of “The Cheetah Girls” self titled soundtrack album “The Cheetah Girls,” officially premiered on Radio Disney.
July 23, 2004 – The 8th “Phil of the Future” episode “Daddy Dearest” aired for the first time on the Disney Channel.
