My oldest DH is 10 so is considered an adult for Disney dining. Already has gone to his head! My question is can he share meals with me at non buffet restaurants? It is not to save money but watching portion sizes. We are watching what we eat and the portions are way too big. Can't take leftovers home. We are paying OOP with TiW card.

:ditto: That's one of the big advantages for paying OOP. We do the same thing at the non-buffet places.

My DH have used sharing to help with portion control as well. You are so right about the portions being way too big. I do not think you will have any problem.

PS- when our DS turned 10 being a Disney "adult" went to his head too. :mickey:

It's your food! You are paying for it!
No one, including Disney, can tell you who can eat it!

This is just one of the many reasons to forgo the Disney Dining Plan.

One of the many advantages of paying OOP. You can even share an appetizer instead of an actual meal if you like.

If it were the DDP, then I believe they do not allow sharing of meals.

You can share Your meal no matter how you paid for it, OOP or DDP.

Correct. The only exceptions being buffets, pre plated, or family style servings.
