Dining plan tips for Food&Wine Fest

Ok, now that I have stopped doing cartwheels (well, in my head anyway:blush:) over the free dining for fall - does anyone have any tips for using the dining plan for the Food & Wine Fest? It's our first time for F&W so we are newbies to that, we have used the dining plan a few times. Any and all thoughts, tricks, recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

We try and go every year for F&W. We always get the deluxe dining and with all the snacks(there are 7 of us). We have never paid for 1 food item at the fest. The kids snacks count just as much as the adults so we have plenty to go around. Also we try and save at least 2 days where we don't book a breakfast or a lunch to save room for F&W.
