I am thinking about purchasing tickets for the dessert party and it says it begins one hour before the Wishes fireworks. That is exactly when the Electric parade is scheduled to begin.

Is it possible to view the parade from the dessert area?

Is there time to watch the parade and then get to the dessert party without all the food or good seats being gone?

Thanks for advice.

Sort of. You can see the parade from the dessert party, but not well. Seats are assigned, so that's not an issue, but when Wishes starts everyone stands at the rail. Most folks start standing when the Magic Memories and You begins. Yes, you have time to watch the parade and they keep stocking the dessert bar, so that's not an issue. The only issue with leaving the area to watch the parade is that by the time the parade is over you don't have very long to relax and enjoy your dessert before the other events start. Generally when we've done the dessert party we just watch the parade and see what we can from the terrace so that we can enjoy the food and be ready for Wishes.

Like the previous poster stated sort of. Our table was one of the first tables right as you come in, so we were able to see it pass by. It was really difficult to see the parade because of the crowd standing along the route. When we did the dessert party, we were able to do it on a night when the parade was offered two times. We just walked out of Tomorrow Land Terrace and got in a spot on the parade route and sat down because everyone was leaving after Wishes! It was pretty great!
