Staying at POR

What are some things for 21 year old Floridians to do at Disney World besides going to the parks? They go to the 4 main parks at other times during the year, but do not like the parks in the summer. They are spending 3 days at POR. I suggested Downtown Disney (POR boat is so convenient), Boardwalk at night, and possibly waterparks (though more crowded in summer). Any other suggestions? They have a quiet pool view room.

Enjoy the pools at the resort !!! The quiet pools, sometimes, get busy, but mostly during the day they are pretty empty. They can rent boats, take a boat ride to DtD, bike rentals, carriage rides, walk along the river.....POR has such a relaxing feel, they'll figure it out !!!:cool:

Tour the hotels play golf regular or mini. Catch la Nouba go to margaritaville plenty of social areas in downtown.

as was said above, pools, boat to DD, mini golf, water parks. at DD Raglan Rd is good:beer:
you can also catch buses from DD to the other resorts and resort hop.

Don't forget Piano Bob at POR! He's got great entertainment for all ages. It's such a blast.
