We are traveling to WDW Columbus week in Oct. When do the airlines usually release sale fares for Oct. As of now for us just to fly down on a Sat one way is $236pp via Jet blue & the other companies are no better. Last year we payed less for a RT ticket. Prices are insane!

Air Tran and Southwest both announced yesterday their 72 hour sale. If I remember correctly, they were booking thru Dec.

There really haven't been any air fare bargains for quite some time now. Just keep looking.

I just booked our December trip yesterday through Southwest for $220/pp rt. That's a pretty good price (recently at least) for Denver to Orlando. Last month when I check flights here $400/pp. Gulp!

I have been keeping an eye on airline prices in anticipation of planning next years's trips. I will say, just for the sake of discussion, everything I try it always seems the best deal price wise to book separately from my WDW package. Southwest looking the best. I fly Hartford, CT to Orlando. Wish that was one of the routes included in the sale :(

As someone else mentioned, check out the 72 hour deal that is going on with Southwest and Airtran. I was lucky to get my airfare for $225 roundtrip with Spirit. Saw it, booked it and now I feel much better since the prices just keep jumping up. When you see a good price, take it and run! :mickey:
