What does the 180+10 mean? I see this all the time. While I know the 180 means 180 days in advance of your WDW stay, what is the +10 all about? I'm clueless.

It means that at 180 days, you can make all your ADRs for up to 10 days of your trip....not just one ADR each day at 180 days? Does that make sense?

Do you have to be a resort guest (staying on property - with a reservation booked) in order to take advantage of the +10?

Just trying to clarify for the OP in case they aren't staying on property but just booking ADRs.

In theory, if you have say an 8 night stay, on day one when you hit the 180 day window you should be able to book not only day 1 reservations, but all 8 days as it would fall in the +10 window.

The problem that I've had, as well as many others, is that the on-line reservation system seems to be a bit particular as some of us, despite having a resort reservation in the system, couldn't book +10 while others could. Apparently calling for reservations would allow for the +10 to work even if the on-line didnt'.

Yes, I believe a Disney resort reservation would have to be booked as you need the reservation number to activate the 180+10 feature when making your ADRs. Unless like you stated the system isn't working properly, which is known to happen. Often!

Thanks to the OP for asking this. I've wondered myself!

Ok, I get it now. Yes, we will be staying on property so when I call at 180 days out, I can make my ADRs for my whole week's stay. Awesome! Thanks so much for clarifying.
