I mean this: Some rooms are located either above or below a major venue like a theater, restaurant, or club. Is there any 'major' noise from these that might be heard in the rooms?

Thanks.

I'd be reluctant to book any stateroom directly above any of the nightclubs; you tend to hear (and sometimes feel) the thumping bass of the loud music late at night when you're trying to sleep. :sheep:

Similarly, some folks don't like any of the rooms below the public decks, for example deck 8 on Magic/Wonder below the pool deck, because of late night and early morning noise such as people moving deck chairs, crews pressure washing the deck, etc.

It's always best to closely study the deck plans before booking any particular room.

We like decks 1 and 2. Lower and more central the better for motion sickness. Plus, it is really quiet and the rooms tend to be more affordable.

Yes there is major noise if you are over the nightclubs. We had a cabin just over that area on the Dream last year and even the ear plugs didn't help! :(
