Does ADR's work the same? Do I walk up and get seated within 5 minutes like most times at WDW?

I have has some wait time at various restaurants and then I have only had as little as 5 min.

I think the ADR's just guarantee you a table.

If it is busy and people linger you may need to wait for a table to open.
