All Star Sports

We are going to WDW in June and have stayed at ASMovies and loved it.With the summer special discount we can save almost $100 by staying at ASSports. My question is does anyone know if ASSports has been refurbed recently? I know ASMovies was last summer.

I think it was the first one to be rerfurbished. That was a few years back.

I am thinking All Star Sports for one of my trips next year, anyone stay recently and have any insight on the condition of it? Really, though, all I need is a room that's clean. Would like a fridge, even if I have to request one rather than it being a permanent part of the room that's fine. And for a good discount over the others, that's a definite selling feature when you're on a budget.

Just back. Seemed to be well kept up. They do not have the little shelf above the sink or the privacy curtain like Pop which would have been nice. Bus service was good. Food court was ok.

2008 was the last time it was refurbished if I remember correctly.....

They were mid-refurb when I stayed there in 2009.

Stayed there for a night January. Very clean room that looked to have been recently upgraded.

we were there in February. It was awesome. Very clean, very neat.
and the staff was amazing. We had an issue w/ our luggage leaving, and for the life of me, i can't remember what it was.
but the bell hops went out of their way to help us, a lady there must have spent over an hour figuring out, what i believe was my mistake, then to make up for my wait, for what i did wrong, she gave us all a collection of Disney stuff (A pen, postcard, disney notebook, Pin, and a few other stuff). it was realy cool.

ALL Disney resort rooms are supposed to have fridges in them now, and if they don't - you can request free of charge.

That's cool. We had to call them because we didn't get our bag on arrival. :rolleyes:
