Member Cruise benefits?

I've compared the cost of a Member Cruise vs. a non-member cruise and see that the cruise I priced was about $300 more for the member cruise per person. What benefits does a member get to compensate for the price difference? Is it worth it?

We went on our first member's cruise last year. They had gifts in your cabin upon arrival and every day of the cruise. These really weren't the kind of gifts that would warrant the price increase. We loved the Disney Dream but we decided that we wouldn't ever have to do a member's cruise again. Our 4 night cruise was more expensive than our upcoming 7 night cruise on the Fantasy.
