Does Disney have a length of stay rental for the ECVs(scooter)? If they do is there a discount?

It looks like they have a multi-day option (with discount) available for wheelchairs but I don't see any reference to a multi-day option for ECV's. You might look at off-site scooter rental companies who will deliver the vehicle directly to your resort and which they person can then use regardless of whether or not they are in the park(s). This is from Disney's website.

For the convenience of Guests with disabilities, wheelchairs and Electric Convenience Vehicles (ECV) are available for rent at a variety of locations throughout Disney Theme Parks and the Downtown Disney Area. A limited supply of wheelchairs is also available for Guests use at select Disney Resort hotel locations, but ECVs are not available. ECVs are designed to be single-rider and not to hold more than one person.

Rental Fees (Prices are subject to change.)

•$12.00 USD per day for wheelchairs at Theme Parks
•$12.00 USD per day plus a $100.00 USD refundable security deposit for wheelchairs at the Downtown Disney Area
•$50.00 USD per day plus a $20.00 USD refundable security deposit for ECVs at Theme Parks
•$50.00 USD per day plus a $100.00 USD refundable security deposit for ECVs at the Downtown Disney Area

Rented units must be returned to the original rental location to receive a security deposit refund. Guests must be 18 years of age to rent an ECV. ECVs are designed to be single-rider and not to hold more than one person.

Quantities are limited and subject to availability. For more information, please visit our Guests with Needs section and ask for the Guidebook for Guests with Disabilities when you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort.

For Guests who require a wheelchair rental for multiple days, Disney Theme Parks offer a length of stay rental ticket where you make a one-time payment transaction for as many days of rental as you will need. Wheelchairs are available for $10.00 USD per day when rented for multiple days. Upon visiting a Disney Theme Park, show your receipt at the wheelchair rental location and you will be expedited through the queue with a reduced wait time. The length of stay rental option is not available or valid at Downtown Disney.

Magic Kingdom Theme Park
Wheelchair and ECV rentals are available at the Stroller Shop inside the Magic Kingdom theme park entrance. For more information, ask for the Guidebook for Guests with Disabilities at City Hall.

Epcot Theme Park
Wheelchair and ECV rentals are available on the east side of the Epcot theme park Entrance Plaza and at the International Gateway. For more information, ask for the Guidebook for Guests with Disabilities at Guest Relations on the east side of Spaceship Earth.

Disney's Hollywood Studios Theme Park
Wheelchair and ECV rentals are available at Oscar's Super Service just inside the Main Entrance to Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park. Replacement wheelchairs are available at the In Character Costume Shop. For more information, ask for the Guidebook for Guests with Disabilities at Guest Relations.

Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park
Wheelchair and ECV rentals are available at Garden Gate Gifts inside Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park. For more information, ask for the Guidebook for Guests with Disabilities at Guest Relations.

Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park
Wheelchairs are welcome at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park; however, they are not available for rent.

Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park
Wheelchairs are welcome at Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park; however, they are not available for rent.

Downtown Disney Area
Rentals are available at Disney's Wonderful World of Memories at Downtown Disney Marketplace and at DisneyQuest Emporium at Downtown Disney West Side.

Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
A limited number of wheelchairs are available at each Disney Resort Hotel. Contact Guest Services or the Front Desk for assistance. A $315 USD deposit will be held on the Guest room account—charged only if the wheelchair is not returned. Guests wishing to guarantee the use of a wheelchair throughout their stay should contact local area rental companies to make arrangements.

I would suggest using Apple Scooter. They have great rates and it includes insurance on the unit as well.

If you get one in the parks it is $50 a day plus deposit. If you leave the park to go to another one you must leave the scooter there and use your receipt at the next park without additional charge for that day. That is if the other park has a scooter avaliable.

Using Apple or one of the other off site providers you can get them for the length of stay a lot cheaper and you have it for use at your resort.

We have used Apple twice and love their service. The scooter will be delivered to your resort and you can pick it up at the Bell Captains desk.

Hope this helps...:mickey:

Let me give a big second to Itchys reply. I have also used Apple 2X with no problems. Just try to get in some practice runs at a local store before hittig WDW .
