Booking dining thru WDW website?

I have a question, when you go to price/book a vacation on Disney World's website, by the description of each dining plan, it says "Would you like to save on dining?", then after you select it, it says "Save up to 35% per adult on Disney dining" by the Deluxe Option. Does it really discount the price 35% if you book the package right then? Is this just a promotional thing? I never see it advertised anywhere.

No, it doesn't discount the price of the dining plan.

It is just saying that you can save over "regular prices" without a dining plan, if you add a dining plan to your package. I think they say you save 20% with the regular plan and 35% with deluxe dining.

Oh ok. :( Thanks Heather for the insight. I wasn't sure as the final total didn't appear to be any cheaper than what I had previously calculated.
