Park ticket option

If we purchase a 7 day ticket and decide to add a day while we're at the park, can we go to guest relations and pay the difference to add the 8th day?
Also, once we check into CSR can we extend our stay by an extra night if there is availability?

Yes, it will only cost you about $6 per ticket to add the 8th day to your 7 day tickets.
As far as adding a day to you CSR stay goes, it will depend on availability, but keep in mind that you will probably pay rack rate for the additional night if it's available. You may have to change rooms for the last night.

Just a note about two recent changes in Disney policy.

You may only upgrade your tickets once (unlike the past when multiple upgrades were allowed) AND you must upgrade that ticket before all of its entitlements are used up. Another words you would have to add that 8th day no later than sometime during day 7. You no longer have the option of waking up the morning of day 8 and reviving those dead tickets by upgrading.
