Traveling between resorts

What is the best way to travel between resorts using Disney Transportation? Bus to a theme park then to the resort? Taxi? Something else?

Specifically, I'm most interested in getting from the Boardwalk to Magic Kingdom resorts and Fort Wilderness.

The easiest way is to take a bus to the Magic Kingdom. From there you can take the monorail to all of the Magic Kingdom resorts.

To get to the Wilderness Lodge it is as simple as catching on one of the boat launches to the Wilderness Lodge that is in front of the Magic Kingdom.

The launch ride it quite nice as well. You can also take a launch to the Camp grounds, Poly and, the Grand Floridian resort.

When we have a schedule that we can't afford much fluctuation, we usually take a Taxi. For us, it is not worth the stress of trying to make a reservation on time.

Specifically getting to Breakfast at Boma has been a horrible experience twice for us in the past, so we always just grab a Taxi to AKL from our resort if were trying to get to Boma.

But, if you have plenty of time and in no hurry, bus to MK and monorail or boat to resort is no big deal.
