Never been at this time of year. Anything we need to know? Hoping its not gonna be terribly hot/humid? But we have been the end of September and it was sticky muggy 95 hot, so kinda nervous about how much better it will be in October. Crowds?

October can still be quite warm. However, the evenings are often, but not always, getting cooler and may even require jeans and a sweatshirt. Crowds are typically manageable during this time of year though you may find increased crowding at Epcot during the Food & Wine Festival particularly in the evenings and on weekends.

We've only been once late October - crowds were lower than we experience in FEB and it was mainly high 70s and mid 80s weatherwise.

October is a great month to go -still can be hot in the sun, but not as humid and with lighter crowds it's just more comfortable. Of course there is the Food & Wine Festival -which might make it the best time of all.

October is our favorite time. The weather is pleasant, though it can occasionally be a little cool (low 70's) but usually low 80's. Crowds are moderate and quite manageable. This year the large Gartner IT conference is there during the week you are asking about. Not that much of an influence during the day but can impact on evening ADRs and making evening F&W a bit busier. But it will be fine.

I also forgot to mention that the big Intercot meet is happening from October 26th - 28th so be sure to check those events out as well! You'll have the opportunity to participate in a myriad of events and meet many of your fellow Intercotees!!

We are going the following week this year. But we have done October I love the ease of jeans and a tshirt during the day and just pull on a sweatshirt in the evening.
