I have read elsewhere that the backyard BBQ had Fineas and Ferb. It showed pictures and it looked cool.....my youngest DD loves F&F and I was wondering if this is going to be something they're going to do this entire summer or was it just a one time thing ????

The characters that I know of are:
Cowboy Mickey Mouse, Cowgirl Minnie Mouse, Cowboy Goofy, Chip and Dale

Also, they issue an invitation to the children to join Mickey on the dance floor - they do not come to your table and interact with you.

Thanks !! Those of Mickey / Minney etc...I know of, which are the normal backyard "celebs", however I was wondering if F&F were taking over for this summer.....??????

I just did an internet search - trying to see if I could find any info out there to help you out - I found nothing - I am so sorry - but I did find this - which has NOTHING to do with the topic at hand of the characters at the BBQ, but maybe it might help out in another way:

Secret Agents to Foil Dr. Doofenshmirtz’s Evil Plans
LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. –

Debuting in June at Epcot, Disney Phineas & Ferb: Agent P’s World Showcase Adventure is based on the wily secret-agent alter-ego of Perry the Platypus – faithful pet to the title characters from Disney Channel’s animated series “Phineas & Ferb.” Although just a simple pet to Phineas and Ferb, Perry turns into Agent P in each episode to help stop the misguided plans of his nemesis, Dr. Doofenshmirtz.

Epcot guests will transform into secret agents to help Agent P thwart some of Dr. Doofenshmirtz’s most daring plots. Agents will use a “high-tech secret agent device” to receive clues for each case. Solving the clues will take agents to different places throughout seven World Showcase countries at Epcot – Mexico Pavilion, France Pavilion, Germany Pavilion, Norway Pavilion, Japan Pavilion, China Pavilion and the United Kingdom Pavilion. Agents will scour each country for clues, evil “Inators,” and – with a little bit of luck – help Agent P defeat Dr. Doofenshmirtz.

F&F did a summer preview there, but it was just for the summer preview. At least that is what I know.

Our Ratings of Mickey's BBQ: (rev 1/5/11)
. . . food price value: D
. . . food quality: C
. . . food quantity per serving: A
. . . food prep speed: B
. . . food selection: C
. . . seating quantity: C
. . . seating comfort: D
. . . eatery atmosphere: C
. . . eatery convenience: C
. . . staff friendliness: B
. . . staff attentiveness: B
. . . character interaction: C

NOTE: Tables are long picnic tables of about 40 people
per table, so you sit with other families. No reserved seating,
so the "mad dash" for seats can be interesting. There is no
"front row", just the end of the picnic tables. Folks start lining up
about 1-hr prior to the 5:30pm seating. Also, characters are there
for dancing and front interaction, and *usually* do not go thru tables,
so sometimes there is a long line trying to get to the charcters. It
should also be noted that the sides are open to the weather. They
can put up some plastic wind diverters, but it does get hot or cold.
