Have they scrapped the chip in the mug, wait for 5 minutes to refill thing ??? I'm sure it's been said, just don't remember seeing it !!:blush:

As far as I know, yes, they have scrapped that idea.

Temporarily, yes. They still want to deal with the mug-cheating issue (and rightfully so!), but the system they tried didn't go over too well. Too many hassles. So, they are re-working their RFID technology and you'll see some new version of it being tested again before too much longer. They still intend to get it into the resorts as soon as they get something that works.

From what I was told, basically the system was clumsy and non guest-friendly. Too many headaches were caused by it for guests and CMs so they went back to the drawing board.

Thanks for the reply.....I was hoping it had either been fixed or scrapped as I've heard some pretty sour reports on how it wasn't working !!! :cool:
