walking time to DTD

We're staying at SSR for the first time next month. What's the approximate time it takes to walk from SSR to downtown? I know it's a large resort and will depend on which building we are assigned. Just looking for a rough guess.

From another thread:

From the closest building in Congress Park to DTD I clocked it at 4 minutes.

From the furthest building of the four in CP to DTD you're looking at about 15 minutes door-to-door.

From the main pool area, about 20 minutes.

I would have to agreet with TexasinNY. We were in the Paddock, and it took about 15 minutes. Remember, after a hot night in Downtown Disney + a couple drinks, it will seem like a lot longer on the way back.

Walk to DTD and take the bus back to SSR

It seemed like a 10 min walk from the resort... we asked for the section closest to DTD so we could walk there..
