What is your favorite restaurant at City Walk?

We are from Houston, there are SO many restaurants here......most of the restaurants at City Walk are here or in Dallas.

We have never been to Margaritaville :marg: or Bubba Gumps :fish::fish:, so we are considering trying one of those. Any comments on those two?:confused:

Those are the 2 my family always wants to hit. I enjoy them both since we do not have them here.

They have 2 for 1 Margarita's at the stand across from the restaurant from 3-5pm too. LOL

We also love both of those. We've never eaten at Margaritaville in Universal, but there is one in New Orleans that we eat at often. A very fun place to eat!! In December we had dinner at Bubba Gump's. Food was great, service was great, atmosphere was fun!

My favorite is Pastamore. It doesn't have a cool theme or gimmack to get you in, but the food is very good.

Margaritaville's food is good too (basic chain type selection) and the entertainment is alot of fun. Staff is very nice.

We love Margaritaville!

Bubba Gump reminds me of a TGIF chain- not too special.

DD9 loves Bubba Gump, I'm not sure why--she doesn't eat fish & hasn't seen Forest Gump LOL Must be the boat (the Jenny) that her chicken fingers are served in! That's where she wants to eat every time we're in NYC, and we hit it last summer in CityWalk, too. I love their dippin shrimp broth-thing.

We did Pastamore last trip, too. Food was pretty good, if I recall.

Never eaten at Margartiville, but do enjoy their :marg: LOL

Gonna give another thumbs up for bubba gump - not everyone has one near them. Even though they are a chain - I have always enjoyed my meals there.

I also have eaten at Emrils and really enjoyed that. Even got put in a private room that overlooked the city walk promenade. Too cool!

We love Margaritaville! It helps if you're a parrot head!

 We're not parrot heads, but still love the energy this place puts out. After I leave there can't get Cheeseburger in Paradise out of my head. :D I even find myself singing "Salt, Salt, Salt!"

We have a Cheeseburger in Paradise by me in NJ... And I rather enjoy it...

As for CityWalk, I only ate at Margaritaville, have yet to try any of the other restaurants though I hear great things about Bubba Gump and Pastamore..

The Jumbalaya at Margaritaville was fantastic!!!! My friend ate the ribs and thought they were some of the best ribs he ever tasted...

Margaritaville is good, a chain, as mentioned. We liked Latin Quarter for dinner, but of course that is latin food and that also runs a bit more pricey. I also like Pastamore. bubba Gump's is a chain too and we have one here where I live- not a fan.

The restaurants there are themed for a reason: tourism. The food is not spectacular, you are going for the theme.

Margaritaville - if you are into Buffett, you have to go.

Bubba Gump's - Decent food, fun atmosphere. More fun if you sit at the bar and socialize with the bartenders.

Nascar - This is a cool place if you want to be around sports and have the kids play games.

As I mentioned, nothing is spectacular. It is all casual dining and you are going for the atmosphere more than the food.

We've eaten at NBA City, Hard Rock and Bubba Gumps. The only one I care to return to is BG. See, we love BG and try to visit in as many cities as we can. We love the movie, and the restaurant is fun with all it's props and the quiz you get to do with your server. The food is darn good as well.

I've eaten at the Margaritaville in Myrtle Beach and it was fun too. I can imagine the one at CityWalk is similar. :marg:

Been to Margaritaville, Hard Rock, and Nascar Cafe. Nascar Cafe, no rush to go again, other than the racing memorabilia to check out, it's nothing special. Hard Rock, really no different than the ones in other major cities. I would definitely go back to Margaritaville, and sit on the outside deck upstairs, you can look out over the parks while you eat and drink.

A vote for the Latin Quarter! Great meal and great service there when we visited 2 years ago.

Margaritaville has also been a consistent yummy meal - the nachos are great! Staff is very friendly. It's just overall vacation fun.

You can make reservations for all the restaurants in advance on OpenTable.com.

Not a big fan of Emeril's. I thought the food was sub-par compared with some of his locations in other cities. Hard Rock is what you would expect. Have never tried Bubba's.

We ate there last Oct and we didn't have the same experience. No one in my family liked it. The staff at reception was uninterested, my husband and son said their meat was fatty and chewy and I thought for what it was it was too expensive. Our waiter was nice (but hard to understand). The theming was cool, but this is one place we probably won't go back to.
