August 19-25 discount rates?

Nooo! Disney just posted thier summer rates and they only go until August 14th. Then the free dining starts August 25th. I'm looking for August 19th-25th.

Does anyone know if and when they posted any discount rates on rooms for that time period last year? I did a search and came up empty.

We were there 8/22-8/26 last year and there were discounted room rates. If i remember they were released late May, early June. Then I switched to AP rates end of June.

I've done a search, as well, for the same dates and came up with the same information as VWL Mom. The last few years, any rates for mid to late August were released end of May, early June... esp the AP rates.. they've historically been early June. Keeping our fingers crossed, as well!! :fingers:

(Funny how Disney has this "lone week" out there this year... the past few years, this week has always been a part of the "free dining promotion" and didn't need it's own discounts... this year, it's just in limbo between summer discounts and free dining. Weird....)

I'm in the same boat. I just received an offer in the mail for 30% of room discount for 8/1 - 8/31. It was only good for value and mod. The deluxe dates were 8/1 - 8/18. We are booked at BC. I feel like Disney is playing a joke on me.

I totally agree. Weird! I'm hoping that means they have big plans for big discounts that week. A girl can dream right?

If you check in on August 13th and stay 7 nights will you get the discount for all the nights or just on the 13th. thx

You would get the nights of the 13th and the 14th discounted. The last 5 nights would not be discounted.

We're booked into the BLT 8/17 - 8/24. Had thought we would hit free dining when we booked. Oh well -- I Can't Wait! :mickey:
