We are flying Southwest for our upcoming trip. We leave out of Manchester, NH and change planes in Baltimore, MD before continuing on to MCO.

I have paid for the auto check in. My sister is planning to do the call 24 hours ahead. She's wondering about how the seating will work for the second flight.

So my question is how does the check-in work for the second leg of the flight? Meaning, do you need to do a seperate check in at the 24 hour mark for this one also?

Thanks,

You only check in once. When you check in, you will get boarding passes for ALL segments of your flight at that time - even if you have to change planes. It can actually work to your benefit for the second leg of the trip, since you will actually be checking in for the second leg before the 24 hour mark.

Again, there's just a single check-in -available at the 24 hour mark of the first flight. Be sure to print out BOTH boarding passes.
