Ok, I just needed somewhere to vent about all these off season changes!

I've been a dolphins fan my entire life, I blame my dad but I am totally embarrassed by them lately. I really hope Gerrard does some good for the team, but he's broken. I'm mad they didn't do more to try to woo manning. I really wanted an orange dolphins jersey with manning on it.

My boyfriend is a huge Giants fan, somehow from being around him I have become a giants fan too. My son's name is Jacob and I got him a Jacobs Jersey this year, well they released him

And Tebow going to the Jets kills me. I hate the Jets (no offense to Jets fans ;) ) and now I have to hate on Tebow. Boo. I feel bad for Tebow. Only because I live in FL and have also always been a Gators fan so I have followed Tebow for a little while now.

Now I have to dislike the Broncos for sending Tebow to the Jets, and for getting Manning instead of the dolphins. My list of teams I dislike is just starting to grow out of control.

ok rant over. Thank you for your time

Since we are talking football, what are the Jets thinking?? Didn't Sanchez just get a new contract? Anyway, I'll miss you Hines Ward!!!

... Please Stand By...

Yeah, apparently. We'll see.

Tebow with the Jets worked for me because I already greatly dislike the Jets (Pats fan, just goes with the territory) and don't care much for Tebow (just don't think he has earned the media praise heaped on him yet) so, it was a good match for me. I love that the Broncos picked up Manning. I think it will be exciting to watch him again. I am disappointed that the Pats lost Green-Ellis. Rats!

No Tebow for the Jets. They backed out of the deal. Jacksonville is now looking at him

I would love to see Tebow in Jax, I live in FL and think that would be a good fit.

So is it true that the dolphins may get Brees?

What am I thinking, the dolphins don't know how to make a good deal. A girl can dream though can't she?

I have been saying since the Broncos got Manning that Tebow should go to the Jaguars. It could basically save the Jacksonville franchise. Being so close to Gainesville, Gator fans will come in droves. It is their marketing department's dream come true. His jersey will fly off the shelves.

What's with my Vikes, they love to try different quarterbacks?

Are you sure, I see on my main page that the Jets did get him?

I'm a JETS fan...Not overly thrilled with them bringing Tebow on, HOWEVER...nothing and I mean nothing is as bad as the sanctions the NFL handed down yesterday on the Saints.

They cut off the team at the knees. Done. Over. Good Luck rebuilding. I'm surprised they didn't yank the Superbowl from New Orleans, to run far away from the scandal. That won't hurt the Saints organization, just the people of New Orleans so they left that alone.
I'm feeling bad for the Saints fans today. They really don't have much to cheer for. HOWEVER...after reading the facts, I feel that the sanctions were JUST. That type of sportsmanship CAN NOT be tolerated, and the NFL made it clear that it WILL NOT be tolerated whether you were actually making the bounty deals or lying about it to cover it up. NO TOLERANCE!! Amen.

I heard the reason the NFL came down so hard on the Aint's was because the NFL knew about it, told them to stop, and they kept doing it.

Punishment was just AND not only can't these guys coach, they hit them in the wallet. NO SALARY!!! Ouch...

I still can't believe that this went on and on and on, and the guys thought it was fun????? I don't get it. Winning...at all costs. That's what they are teaching now a days...

I feel the punishment was just, but should have happened a long time ago. How long did they monitor the situation before they finally decided to make an example of the Saints? How many other teams have they monitored that did not get punished yesterday. I find it hard to believe that the Saints were the only team being watched and being caught.

With no one there to resign Brees contract, where will be go?

This idea is not something they just started teaching now a days. You've heard the famous quote, I'm sure: "Winning isn't everything . . . . It's the ONLY thing". Vince Lombardi famously used this adage on the first day of Green Bay Packers training camp in 1959, although he didn't invent it. It pre-dates his first usage by a decade or more in the 40's in college sports. You should hear stories told by Bill Curry about playing for the Packers in those days. Concussions? You had better play through them or risk getting cut or losing your starting job.

It took getting traded to the Jets for Tebow to utter the words "there is no God."

Why the Jets need the distraction is beyond me, maybe they plan on using the wildcat formation for half their offensive plays. I heard Tebow nixed Jacksonville because the coaches and front office would have considered him nothing more than 3rd string a/o special teams type player. Supposedly the Jets contend he is a #2 qb. Now they just need to get a #1.

My boyfriend is a die-hard Patriots fan, and he despises both the Jets & Tim Tebow. Just gives him more of an excuse to hate the Jets I guess :p
