I don't do full Trip Reports anymore - the trips seem to be a big magical blur now that we have kids.
My children behave better for other people then they do for us (people tell me this is a good thing).
So we are on the Safari in AK and we are sitting in the first bench. My son E (3 years old) starts kicking my daughter C (5 years old) almost from the first moment. After a few times during the ride of telling him to STOP kicking his sister I finally say,
"See the driver. Well he can kick you off this truck - so you better start behaving because I don't want to stay out here."
E stares at the driver like he is debating whether I am telling the truth.
The driver, who is probably 20, is taking us around the lion area and talks about her hunting activities, "The lioness hunts antelope, gazelle, and disobdient little boys who keep kicking their sisters. So we better all behave ourselves." My son eye's get huge like he can't believe it!
The driver turns off his microphone and just starts laughing as hard as he can. He says to my husband "I can't believe I just went there!"
I love it when Cast Members do memorable stuff like that!
