Blizzard Beach 1995 question

Our kiddos enjoy the Beach Party at WDW Sing-Along video which was made back in 1995. I've noticed that when they visit Blizzard Beach the kids are riding a tubes over what looks like a slalom course. I don't ever remember seeing a ride like that. Do you?

It has been awhile since I have watched that video, but I believe everything on it, I have ridden at BB.

Those are the body slides next to the multi lane mat slide. They may have been tube slides at one time or maybe just for the video.
