I am going to WDW In October. There are three of us. There is a chance that my daughter might be coming depending on her schedule. She may not know till summer though. When I make my ADR's would it be wrong to make the reservations for four people? I wondered if it would be harder to add a person after they are made.

I would just go ahead and make your ADRs to include her. It's usually not a big deal to say...oh, we actually have 3 instead of 4. But they can't always accomodate in reverse.

Thanks, that's what I was thinking.
As far as I know, there are no "tables for 3" so you would be seated at a table for 4 anyway.

I have 5, so am faced with the same dilemma. I'm going to book for 5 since that is harder to accomodate - but if the boyfriend doesn't come, I'll call back in advance to let them know the plan. I'm also prepared to book for 3 and 2 if necessary.
