Just wondering if anyone else has a collection of popcorn buckets? I have 8 of them...all different! I am a 3rd grade teacher and use them in my classroom for a variety of items. The kids love them and I have had some students come back to my room just to see if I got new a new bucket after they moved on! People always talk about the mugs,...just wondered about the buckets!

I use them in my classroom for pencils, boxtops and a variety of other small objects. They would be good at home for throwing change into!

I have been collecting them what seems like forever. I usually get another bucket when they change. I have several of the 100 Mickeys buckets, original California buckets etc. Sometimes I will bring them with me to DL to buy popcorn to refill them.

I don't really use them all that much. Just a collection. I do use one to rinse my DD's hair in the tub and one for her markers.

Our favourite is the R2-D2 buckets that our friends bought for our boys .... they get used for popcorn, however.

We also have a "Blue Hat" bucket that we got in Disneyland, it is used to collect change that gets converted to US currency for the kids when we travel.

We only have 2 and I don't remember when or where we got them. We use ours for putting our change in to save for our trip.
I use one for my change & my son uses the other. We actually have a Stitch & Tinkerbell banks and when they get full we dump them in the buckets too. Sometimes I throw a dollar or 5 in there too.:secret:

Whenever we make popcorn at home everyone gets their own bucket. The main argument is who gets which park. ;)

I used to have a large collection but during my last move and anxious helper tossed them out. I didn't know they were missing until too late. :( I've collected a few since then but they will never replace the unique ones that I had.

Because we're local and go all the time, I've lost track of how many we have. Filling them with snacks for a party is a great option.

As another poster mentioned, we also use them for popcorn at home. :mickey:

We have 2 from WDW and 1 huge bucket from Disney On Ice. We use the big one all the time for popcorn. The others are up on a shelf with our collection of resort mugs.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one! I have about 6 popcorn buckets. My current favorite is Ghost Mickey from last Halloween.

I'm a teacher too. I use them to sort my Mr. Potato Head parts in my classroom.

Wednesday is popcorn day at morning break. I take mine to work for popcorn. Much cooler than using empty coffee canisters. And the pictures on the buckets always brings a smile to my face.

We just discovered these last trip, we have a halloween one we are using to stuff our spending money for the upcoming trip in and a R2D2 one we are using to put back the money for paying off our trip, they are so cute! I can't wait to pick up a few more of them!

Does anyone have pictures of what types are for sale now and how much are they? I saw a great Minnie that I think was from Japan, but I'm wondering if there are cool ones here too - we are planning a trip in June 2012. Thanks.
