How Long?

Planning a trip for Sept with my husband and son who will be 17 months at that time. We have been several times but never with a child. Original plan was 6 nights at the Wilderness Lodge but now Im wondering if 5 nights would be enough. Dont want to overdo it with the baby but then again maye the exta day would be good so we can take our time and also habe some time at the pool to get away from the parks. Any tips?

September is still HOT, so allowing more time to take breaks and cool down would get my vote! :wave:

I believe with the heat and the baby that you will want the extra day. Make sure you locate the baby centers in each park. These are air conditioned places to feed/change a baby. They are great!

With a 17 month old, you will get far less done than you might think so, planning for a slow pace and longer breaks might make you happy you planned that extra day.

I agree that the extra day is the way to go. You want this to be a vacation, right? ;)

And, don't underestimate how much a 17 month old will be interested in.
