Are there any events happening at this time? I think I've heard that it's "lovebug" season :D but any events happening in the parks? ie: dance/ cheer competitions, BTG season, etc . .. . .

I went once at the end of September (last week). The worst part about it was the lovebugs and the extreme heat/humidity. Crowds were non existent, and the Halloween decorations were up. It was a good time to go, if you are prepared for the environmental challenges. :D

How hot is it in Sept? We are planning on going around the 12th. Is it at least a little moe comfortable then going in the middle of summer? My husband wont do well if itss ungodly hot! Maybe I just wont tell him...haha!

It's usually very hot and humid. We went once as late as mid October, and it was as brutal as August.
Be prepared. Take lots of breaks in A/C.

Food and wine starts in September. Epcot only.
Not so good for kids but great for adults.
I go on an adults only trip every year and it is an absolute blast.
