So we are surprising my DD tomorrow by getting on a plane and going to Disney for her bday!

When making plans it took quite a bit less points and direct flight from Cincinnati so we have been trying to come up with a plan as to when to tell DD that we were going keeping it secret as long as possible. So here it is,

Last night when my husband came home I told them I made my flight for work out of Cinci so do you guys want to drive down with me and drop me off at the airport. I travel every week so this is not too out of the norm. My DD as always is up for anything I suggest so she jumped all over it, yes, yes let's go dad! Ha! Too easy!:secret: So tonight we are going to drive down and spend the night for " my" early flight and when we go park the car I am going to say, so do you wanna come with me I'm going to Disney for your birthday! Video camera primed to film! :mickey:

I wish I could have done a surprise like that with my daughter when she was young, but I was never that good at keeping a fun secret.

Wishing you a great time!

Well we did it this morning when we woke up. I have a video I will post. She was surprised but barely awake. Should have waited till she was more with it but I couldn't wait any more. After the video she kept saying are you serious? She was so funny I think she may have been more excited about her first time flying! :mickey: kids are funny.

What a great surprise for your daughter. As hard as it is to keep these kinds of surprises a secret, isn't it so great when you finally get to tell the kids?!?!

How fun! I'd love to surprise my kids with a trip, but I don't think I could ever keep it to myself.

Very cool setup - while she may not yet have been awake for the reveal, I bet she was over the moon thrilled. Looking forward to reading the reports! :mickey:
