Planning our trip for August and our booking window for dining opens up in a week! We're trying to decide on a character breakfast for our son, who will be just shy of three. We're Disney Visa cardholders, so I know there's a meet-and-greet we can participate in at Epcot. Can anyone tell me which characters are likely to be there? That will help us decide which (different) characters to choose for breakfast!

It is classified as random but 9 times out of 10 you will always see Mickey with Minnie, sometimes just them, sometimes with Goofy, sometimes with Pluto, sometimes with Donald or all five. Depends. It is in the Epcot Innovations West building, only from 1:30pm - 4:30pm. :mickey:

Went in June and it was Mickey, Minnie and Goofy! Get there early! It's well worth it!

We have always had 3 of the fab five. Never anyone else. We do it every year. Its a lot of fun!:mickey:

Last week it was Minnie and Goofy. All five were in the character spot.

Beginning of May was Minnie & Goofy as well.

On Wednesday it was Mickey and Pluto. We did get one great photo. :mickey:

We loved our Visa meet and greet last year. It is much more private than most others. I asked the CM about which characters were there. She told me that the characters are on rotation from the character spot. So as they leave one building they rotate to the Visa spot then break or vice versa. It is almost always one of the "Fab Five" At least this is what I was told on our visit last Oct.

Typically, I forget about the Visa meet and greet but we did do it on our last visit. When we walked through, it was about 1:20 and several folks were already in line. By time it opened, the line behind us was quite lengthy so do heed the advice to get there early.

Breakfast at Crystal Palace with Pooh and friends might be a nice option. When we went with our 2 year old nephew, he loved meeting the characters here!

On the last day of our upcoming trip, I booked the latest time slot (11:00 or 11:15, I think) for Akershus Princess Breakfast in the World Showcase and will likely head to the Visa Character greet afterwards then depart the World. I think meeting all these characters in that type of setting will be a great way to end the trip.
